Amazing boards for days <3
that middle one almost looks like a thumb
thumbs are really really cool
everyone should ride a thumb
you can hang five
you can go faster than any thruster
you can turn really hard and not slip out
they are just amazing and i love them

I love this board
"In 1989, shortly after the Exxon Valdez oil spill, my Dad Peter St Pierre hotwired a big chunk of styrofoam into a surfboard blank and had Mike Slingerland shape it into this longboard. Gary Stuber glassed it with epoxy resin. My Dad rode it a few times and felt the board was too light, especially in offshore winds, so it was resanded and then glassed a second time with polyester resin. He added this groovy artwork, surfed it for the rest of the summer and then the board was retired to the garage where me and JM dug it out last weekend. My Dad somehow got all that crusty wax off the next day.
*note the Rip Curl Surfboards label as they were a big client for Moonlight Glassing in the 80's. " - Jp St. Pierre
such a cool longboard and its super awesopme how Peter was glassing these epoxy boards before everyone else did. Go ahead and try to call moonlight cliche, it would be like deeming yourself stupid saying that. moonlight is the best glass shop ever.

more Shawn Ambrose goodness
Two more boards I am adding to my list of board that I want to own. one because i want to collect Shawn's boards, and two because these boards look fast, fluid, and deadly fun. Top is a flex stringer ice blue sputnik from deep in the archives of surfysurfy.net. The lower board is a stringerless twinzer single wing fish with a bitchen airbrush. Both boards were glassed at moonlight

my mandala
Here it is my freshly shaped blank, Mani, of mandalacustonshapes.com shaped me this board around a month ago and its been on my mind ever since. I'm getting bamboo glass ons, with a sweet glass job from moonlight. I truly can not wait to get this thing into the water. A dream has developed in my mind the last month of riding this board. So stoked. It's a 5'3.5 arc swallowtail, so it's pretty much the coolest board ever in like the universe! I had Mani shape the swallowtail a little deeper than normal so there would be ore flex in the tail, Kassia Meador gets hers like that and i love flex so i had to go with it. It has been so long and im so impatient I want to ride it!!!!!
