clean mandala quad fishes make me smile after I get back from surfing 6 foot offshore beacons for six hours in the rain haha it was the most amazing surfing I have done and been apart of it was incredible to be out in perfect condition's while its raining I might go back out soon too.

Bamboo Bamboo Bamboo

The other day I realized that I freaking LOVE bamboo fins! the are the best fins ever made hands down, after I realized that I then shot a bamboo photo shoot.  The first board is a powder blue bonzer5 I've blogged this board before and it is one of the best boards ever created ever.  The second board is a Mandala shaped and glassed here in north county.  Third on the board line is my personal favorite bonzer.  It is a Rob Machado Chili bonzer.  I have had some of the best surfs of my entire life on this board.  And last is  another Mandala but this one is a thruster it was once one of Mani's personal boards (Mandala's shaper and glasser)

Andrew's Choice

This is my choice for this week it is a big wave charger.  For those days when you want to catch more than a wave at swamis on a 10 ft day!  It has a channel bottom so it will draw alot cleaner lines, hold better, and go faster down the line.  I put Marlin Bacon fins in the front and a Taylor Knox fin in the back because I think that would work well.  The Knox fin would drive and the Marlin fins would give it spunk and spring. Casters are a flash-back in time and a flash-forward at the same time. (wrestling update my record is 21-4)

Freaking Cool Bonzer

This bonzer is freaking epic!! It has the best airbrush I have ever seen and it has cool stickers, and awesome fins I even put in a groovy aqua marine fin in it to match the whole board.  I seriously love this board.  Marlin Bacon made the fins, Peter St. Pierre did the airbrush, and Surfy Surfy made the sticker.  One of my favorite parts about this board is its rounded off nose for more float.  Personally I like wider noses to float my fat tummy.

Fishy Fishy

This is a board I particularly like, it is way to big for me but I still love its simplicity it makes me happy to look at it.  This fish was shaped by Mani Carlo, one of my fellow beacons shredderz.  He makes these really groovy fishes and stubs witch just fly down the line.  All of the boards that I have seen him make have had really amazing resin tint that bring out the boards, and of coarse to top it all off are the marlin bacon fins that will make the board perform amazingly, if you are a bigger guy looking for a good fish!

Andrew's Choice

This week for Andre's Choice I choose THE BEST SURFBOARD EVER MADE(tbsem for short)! This tbsev is a 6'4, and has glassed on bamboo fins made by marlin bacon from 101 fin.  It has a pintail, the most beautiful airbrush, and polish job on it that I have ever seen.  I seriously will be jellios(I dont know how to spell this word please comment and tell me how) of the person who buys this board, because I'm drooling over it.  I put this costa azul fin in it because I personally don't like the bonzer template so I like these rake fins more.  Campbell brothers have it down and locked

Fin Of The Week

This is a 8.5in. performance single fin. It will improve your long board. It is a bamboo fin there is only two sheet of cloth on this fin so it doesn't loose the bamboo's flexablity.  Marlin Bacon makes these crazy awesome fins.  In one of the pictures you can see the nice little bamboo grain now thats cool!
