cool shape of the day

I was looking on http://theswallowtailsociety.tumblr.com, and I stumbled upon this beautiful board.  I love the shape that is why I am reblogging it.  Truthfully I am in a longboarding phase but this defiantly caught my eye I wish I could see the fin set up it looks like a 2+1 but I'm hoping its a quad

Mandala Tri Plane Hull

Once I get enough free cash this will be the next board I order. Mani shaped me a board that is perfect for me so why not ask him to do it again and make me another perfect board.  :) If you have never riden a mandala I highly sugjest it they are some of the most fun boards that there are out there right now.  The fin by Jack Jenson and the resign tint on these made my mouth drop when i looked upon these pictures

my mandala

Here it is my freshly shaped blank, Mani, of mandalacustonshapes.com shaped me this board around a month ago and its been on my mind ever since. I'm getting bamboo glass ons, with a sweet glass job from moonlight. I truly can not wait to get this thing into the water.  A dream has developed in my mind the last month of riding this board.  So stoked. It's a 5'3.5 arc swallowtail, so it's pretty much the coolest board ever in like the universe! I had Mani shape the swallowtail a little deeper than normal so there would be ore flex in the tail, Kassia Meador gets hers like that and i love flex so i had to go with it.  It has been so long and im so impatient I want to ride it!!!!!

Hard decision

So I am looking to buy a Mandala for myself for graduating 10Th grade and just because I want another board.  I am set on getting a Mani shape, I love all of the boards that he does and every one I have ridden has left me frothing.  I'm getting it 4'10- 5'2, I like it as short as possible and I don't want a stringer that much just because one of Mani's boards is stringer-less and is so alive under your feet it is just magic.  I really like his arc tails though I cant decide at all if I want a flex arc tail or a normal arctail or if I just want one like the first picture above.  Such hard decisions should not be put upon a sixteen year old. Someone help me decide.  All pictures are taken by Mani Caro, and from his blog http://theswallowtailsociety.tumblr.com.  Its a great blog with lots of amazing boards on it everyone should check it out

Fishy Fishy

This is a board I particularly like, it is way to big for me but I still love its simplicity it makes me happy to look at it.  This fish was shaped by Mani Carlo, one of my fellow beacons shredderz.  He makes these really groovy fishes and stubs witch just fly down the line.  All of the boards that I have seen him make have had really amazing resin tint that bring out the boards, and of coarse to top it all off are the marlin bacon fins that will make the board perform amazingly, if you are a bigger guy looking for a good fish!
